Digital wedding invitation wording: examples you can copy
Wording examples for a digital wedding invitation, from formal to relaxed, plus a short message to send with the link. English and Arabic touches included.
Good wording is short, warm and clear. A digital invitation has one advantage over print: the details can live in separate sections, so the main text can stay brief. Here are a few styles to borrow from.
Formal
Together with their families, Maya and Karim request the pleasure of your company at their wedding on Saturday, the fourteenth of June, at six o'clock in the evening.
Warm and simple
We are getting married, and we would love you to celebrate with us. Saturday 14 June, 6 pm. Please let us know if you can come.
Relaxed
Maya and Karim are tying the knot. Come eat, dance and make a little noise with us. Saturday 14 June.
Adding a touch of Arabic
Many couples mix languages, a line in English and a line in Arabic, so every guest feels addressed. A short blessing or a closing line like عقبالكن is a lovely personal touch and needs no translation for the people who matter most.
What to leave out of the main text
- Long directions: use a map link instead
- Gift details: put them in a separate, optional section if you include them at all
- A full schedule: a short timeline below the invitation reads better than a paragraph
The message you send with the link
Hi! We are so happy to share our wedding invitation with you. Everything is in the link, including the venue and where to reply. We hope you can join us.
Adjust the first line for each person.
Keep the message personal and the invitation itself clear, and you will get answers faster. If you would like help choosing the wording for your own invitation, send us your names and date and we will set it up with you.
